Countries in the Middle East have sought solutions by employing climate purchasing strategies and tools at the frontier of providing solutions. The region undoubtedly has its work cut out for reducing greenhouse gases. It has attempted to look for alternatives to Fossil fuels for pollution reduction. Options such as solar and wind energy are viable in mitigating fossil fuel use. Fortunately, some countries in the Middle East have begun projects for developing these alternatives.

Sustainable Policy

A sustainable policy (Green Procurement Policy) This policy is a statement of a country or organization’s intent to acquire materials, supplies, services, and products strictly after considering their environmental and health impact. While some countries in the Middle East have already established some policies and goals, the region needs to have a somewhat unified sustainable approach with achievable goals.

Conclusion

Although the strategies for climate-friendly purchasing may have unequal progress in different countries in the Middle East, there is no doubt that each country is playing its part in reducing climate change. That, alone, provides reassurance that the Earth can be in a habitable state for future generations.
